Well, it's been a little over a year since I last wrote a journal entry.

    It looks like it's been almost two years since I made a journal entry, wow. I'm super excited since I got a drawing tablet yesterday for my computer. It'll make so many things easier to do. Because of this, I'm finally working on one of my long term projects, Ethereal Heart. If you keep track of my deviations I submit, it's old news. I had started making a video game based on that concept. It really didn't take off like I hoped it would (although, a demo was produced). To me, it's painfully obvious that it was my first attempt at making an RPG. My real goal was always to make a comic strip but it was always too large of an undertaking with having to physically draw ever single page with proper layout and then scan them in. With the new tablet and Manga Studio it cuts down work and enables me to move (slightly?) faster. So be on the lookout for new posts with Ethereal Heart pages.

So, I was talking to a friend recently and seems he's into certain fetishes (which was news to me). I guess I never figured him as "that" sort of guy. Really, nothing surprises me because I'm on the internet AND I'm on dA.

One of my big hangups have been what I call fetish art. I most of the time shy away from anything having to do with involving said fetish art unless I *really* feel like there's a lot of artistic merit going on. Fetish art really goes beyond what most people think of as "big booty bitches", into territories involving adult babies, furries, ponies, feederism, and more. I'm pretty boring in my turn ons (hint: it rhymes with MEN and BEARDS) but many are into other things. So I'm going out of my comfort zone and for this weekend, I'm opening my requests.

Request Rules

1. Feel free to request just about ANYTHING, no holds barred (yes, even f'en ponies which I loathe).

I've been feeling all jazzed up of late about doing art stuffs, particularly watercolor. While I was formally trained in watercolor, nothing ever seemed to really click for me. It was just here's what I want to do, let's try to do it. A few weeks ago I inadvertently discovered my love of letting the watercolor do its thing instead of trying hard to force it to be something. That's not to say that I'm letting watercolor blob and pool on my paper and it running everywhere. It's more like let the watercolor retain its aqueous vitality and just try to direct it a bit. Seriously, it took me over ten years to figure that out. I should write a book on the Zen of Watercolor/Aquarelle or something XD

Having sufficiently rambled on a bit, I think I'd like to do a bit of custom art for those who follow me both on here and on twitter. I'll take anyone's request or trade into consideration but I'm more likely to do it if you follow me and I actually know who you are.

Ideally, I'd like a trade situation. You scratch my back, I scratch yours and all. I am not discounting requests though. It feels weird saying that since my motto with my profession stuff is NO REQUESTS. More often than not, they're a pain in the ass. Screw this "the customer is always right" motto. Kame's always right because she knows what she's doing. Let's say I do decide to do a request of yours, you may have some conditions but I'll be the one to interpret them.
